The Summer that Owned my Soul and Edible Miracles

Summers are always particularly busy for me. If there were ever a time of year when friends and family feel compelled to swap stories of "Wow, I haven't seen Allison in X number of months," it's Summertime.

Therefor, it should have been no surprise that I opted to squeeze in a couple more projects than I really had time for. "I'm sorry, I can't accommodate your request," is one of the hardest things for me to say... Especially when they keep turning out so well!

24-Hour Miracle Princess Torte. 6" round.
(Serves 8-10. $40.)

Cookies n' Cream Cupcake

Made these for my Shakespeare Camp's final performance potluck.
They were the first item gone off the table!

I'm happy to report that Camps are now over and my production of Rent has closed. The Summer that Owned my Soul is finally complete! Hopefully this week will be spent catching up on some quality Research & Development time in the kitchen... Maybe I'll even be able to sneak in a few hours of sleep;-)
