Piping is not my greatest strength. Because of this, I decided to push myself beyond my comfort zone a little bit and play with piping designs instead of defaulting to my regular boarder or rosettes on top. I think the simplicity of it is rather elegant:-)
10" chiffon cake filled with pastry cream and raspberry jam, topped with vanilla buttercream.
Dark chocolate piping to offset the baby girl pink flowers.
Chocolate highlights.
Still a bit rough with the freehand designs, but my writing has gotten a lot better since working at Waterbar!
